He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Hawkins Hodgson of Woodbridge, VA; his children, Deborah Hodgson Blakley (Jimmie) of Fredericksburg, VA, David (Joyce) of Woodbridge, VA and Donna Sue Eckert (Billy) of Woodbridge, VA.; his grandchildren, Russell Blakley of Sterling, VA, Amy Hodgson Willey (Christopher) of Leesburg, VA, Sara Hodgson Al-Ali (Adam) of Chesterfield, VA, Rebecca Hodgson Nix (Dallas) of Chesterfield, VA and Austin Eckert of Woodbridge, VA.; and his great grandchildren, Emma Willey, Ava Willey, Lucas Willey, Jordan Al-Ali, Noah Al-Ali, Parker Nix, Cooper Nix, Adelyn Blakley and Madelyn Blakley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Chapel (1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel (1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Mount Hebron Cemetery (305 E Boscawen St, Winchester, VA 22601).
