He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Flynn Nolan; and his parents, Albert Raymond (Elizabeth Quill Nolan) and John (Jack). He is survived by: his children, Mary Nolan Acker (Steve) of Charlottesville, VA, Sean Nolan of Burke, VA, Patrick (Sylvia) of Fredericksburg, VA and Christopher (Michelle) of Mt. Airy, MD.; his grandchildren, Crystal, Zachary, Seana, Caitlyn, Brynn, Brennan, Christian, Steaphan, Shannan and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Julianna, Joelle, Tyson, Kennedy and Hadley.

“Mr. Nolan (what I always called him) was the kindest man my family and I ever met. He gave me and my family kind words of encouragement after our mother passed away. He was a great neighbor to us when we lived on Capella Avenue. You could always tell he loved family and family events. He loved the whole soccer club/Springfield Youth Club and coaching. He is a Legacy of Burke and will always be remembered. Love You Nolan Family! Prayers to all of you.”
