She was predeceased by: her parents, James Welford Payton and Patricia Lorraine Shifflett Payton. She is survived by: her significant other Gail Bondurant; her daughters, Lorri Beassie (Tammi) and Cynthia Parrott (Kevin); her granddaughter Emma; her brothers, Dale Payton (Melissa) and Jeff Payton (Kim); and her close friends, Jo Aylor and Judy Estes.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Brenda's memory to the SPCA, an organization she supported with all her heart.
