He is survived by: his close friend Cecelia Boyer; his sons, Jeter Ray Barrett Jr. (Amber-Marie) and Nathan David Rogers; his sisters, Gladys Virginia Elton (Johnny) and Linda Barrett Jeter (Julian); and his grandchildren, Dylan Lee Dodson, Cayden Mathew Dodson, Jaelynn-Marie Ray Barrett, Jeter Ray Barrett III, Wesley Hunter Barrett, Kalaya Marie Barrett and Riverleigh-May Blanche Barrett.
