It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Wilkins of Callao, Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monds Rollins Ambrose, Sr. and Clara Ellen Morris Ambrose; her husband Samuel Lee Wilkins; her daughter-in-law Dolores Pinkard; and her siblings, Ginny Thrift, Elsie Jenkins, Monds "Bub" Ambrose, Dorothy Mothershead, Ruth Ellen Ambrose and Margaret Barnes.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Lee Wilkins (Alice Swann); her stepgrandson David Ambrose (Lynn); her siblings, Violet Lewis, William "Big Boy" Ambrose, Louise Ambrose and Frances Fairfax; her close friends, Margaret Brooks, Florine Jackson and Carroll Wood; Lee and Brittany. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
