She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Gwyn and Kate Cox Gwyn; her husband James "Jim" Wilson Ayers; and her great grandchild Ellis James Worrell. She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Ayers (Norma) and Shannon Ayers (Leesa); her grandchildren, Matthew Ayers (Kara), Bradley Ayers (Kayla), Grace Worrell (Jake) and Ryne Ayers (Jasmine); her great grandchildren, Cameron Ayers, Rylan Ayers, Hayden Ayers, Madison Ayers, Holden Ayers, Hannah Worrell, Will Worrell and Delaney Worrell; and her sisters, Louise Utt, Faithie "Toots" Hall and Judy Sheets.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Willow Hill Moravian Church Cemetery Fund, 577 Willow Hill Rd., Ararat, VA 24053; or to the Alzheimer's Association.
