She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie L. Vernon and Nettie Vaughn Vernon; her husband Revis Sebron Gentry; her siblings, Hurley Vernon and Mary Sue Vernon Veit; and her close friends, Bobby and Nancy Combs.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Revis Gentry (Sylvia) and Kathy Sylvia Gentry Joyce (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Randi Riggs (Tony), Sean Joyce (Kristy-Ann), Kim Lyons (Danny), Adrianne George (Richard Migliara) and Stephen George (Julie); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Riggs, Farrah Riggs, Halle Joyce, Kady Joyce, Gabriel George, Amelia George, Brett Lyons, Micah Lyons, Luke Lyons and Alba Migliara.
