She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Higgins and Elizabeth Roberts Lowe; her husbands, Ralph Bedsaul and Mack Johnson; her daughter Becky Bedsaul; and her grandson Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Bowers of Galax and Rickey Bedsaul (Vickie) of Ennice; her stepchildren, Robbie Johnson (Janet) of Mt. Airy and Renee Bedsaul (Sam) of Raleigh; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon Bedsaul (Julie), Jill Hanson (Brandon), Megean Brady (Eli), Kayla Sikes (Gordon), Roulette Evans (Dan), Rowdy Bedsaul (Allie) and Reed Bedsaul; her great grandchildren, Payton Proffitt, Sidney Proffitt, Bishop Brady, Bannon Brady and Indy Sikes; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ally Hanson, Delia Hanson, D'Mitri Sikes, Ryland Sikes and Gaetano Bedsaul; and her half-brothers, Tommy Chappell (Karen) and David Chappell. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
