He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elwood Fox, Sr. and Elizabeth Trent Fox; his grandson Jackson Clarke Fox; and his siblings, Betty Fox Mapp and John Elwood Fox, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Clarke Fox of Jarratt; his children, William Trent Fox, Jr. (Tiffin) of Waldmohr, Clarke England Fox (Beth) of Capron, Clifford Spotswood Fox (Carol) of Capron and Courtney Fox Day of Midlothian; his grandchildren, William Fox, Alex Fox, Chris Fox, Edward Fox, Thomas Fox, Ashby Day Keefer, McGowan Day, Madison Day, Olivia Fox and Ford Fox; and his sister Marilyn Fox Roach. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Capron Methodist Church or Southampton Academy.
