He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ward and Eunice Ward; his brothers, Eugene, Linwood and Ward; and his stepdaughter Milissa Nicholls.
He is survived by: his wife Jerri Jean Ward; his daughters, Rebecca Bales and Sarah Vanlandingham; his stepsons, Christopher Nicholls and Thomas Nicholls; and his grandson Collin Vanlandingham. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Bennetts Creek Chapel (2690 Bridge Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435).
