The memory of Faye Edwards Stephens of Carrsville, Virginia, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elliott Edwards, Sr. and Minnie Blythe Edwards; her husband John William Stephens, Jr. (Billy); and her brothers, Joseph Elliott Edwards, Jr. and Ronald Benjamin Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, John Brian Stephens (Elaine) and Jennifer Stephens Bailey (Chris); her grandsons, Brian Shane Stephens (Ashley) and Owen Christopher Bailey; her sister Linda Edwards Hall (Fred); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Jean Edwards and Becky Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
