She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Clifton Gibbs and Ella Mae Brickhouse Gibbs; and her husband William Lee Wells Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, William Lee Wells Jr. (Betty Cowling Wells) of Ivor and James Thomas Wells of Carson; and her grandchildren, Denise Wilkes, William Bradley Wells, James Thomas Wells Jr. and Anna Marie Butler. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
