We announce the death of Ralph R. Daniels of Cartersville, Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 86. Ralph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bryant Daniels and Edna Hinchman Daniels Newsom; and his siblings, Arthur B. Daniels and Winifred D. Heckel. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Burkett Mercer Daniels; his daughters, Nancy Bradt (Joseph Hoggood) of Richmond, Linda Daniels (Matt Dye) and Patricia Noll (Kendrick Noll) of Nashville, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Miriam Smith of Cartersville, Virginia and Randy Mercer; his grandchildren, Jessica Bradt (Scott Skasick), Kathryn Dellafera (Thomas Dellafera Jr.), Justin and Austin Noll; his stepgrandsons, Nathan Smith, Matthew Smith (Courtney) and Daniel Smith (Amy); and his sister Vivian D. Laderach of Huntersville. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
