It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Lenford Willis of Cascade, Virginia, born in Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Lee Willis and Fannie Young Willis; and his siblings, Glenda "Judy" Myers, Shirley Robinson, Jean Hundley and Thomas Willis.
He is survived by : his wife Hazel Smith Willis; his children, Diane Moore (Carl) and Johnny Willis (Rebecca); his foster son Carl Kaltofen (Sandy); his grandchildren, Joshua Young Willis, Glen Allen Moore (Jenn), Lori Ann Moore and Zachary McDaniel (Natalia); his great grandchildren, Chase Allen Moore and Carter Alexander Moore; and his sisters, Nelda Harris and Betty Bray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
