He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert K. "Bob" Holmes and Elizabeth Pauline Counts Holmes; and his sister Judy King. He is survived by : his son Robert Derick Gibson (Lauren); his grandchildren, River Renae Gibson and Gauge Milum Gibson; his sister Robin Burton (Pete); the mother of his child Maxine Gibson; and his close friend Sherry Stanley.
