She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Poston and Sallie Marshall Poston; her husband Edward Clyde Holbrook; and her siblings, Iris Osborne, Mary Fran Skeens, Ina Woodruff, Betty Sue Hill, T. J. Poston, James Poston and Paul Poston.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Holbrook; her granddaughter Peyton Vanwinkle; her sister Peggy Mullins; and her close friend Lorraine Holbrook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Castlewood Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
