She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cunningham and Eva Culbertson Cunningham; her husband Joseph Paul King, Sr.; and her siblings, Joe, Doug, Charlie Howard, Paul "Paxton" Cunningham, Elizabeth Slagle and Dorothy Canfield.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Whitman (Billy), Virginia Gail McConnell (Jimmy) and Joseph Paul King, Jr. (Pam); her grandchildren, Cindy Martin (Chris), Sarah Jane Taylor (Walker), Chris King (Jessica), Kelly Paul King (Amber), Ashley Clark (Dusty) and Whitney McConnell; and her great grandchildren, Whitman Martin, Riley Martin, Sutton Taylor, Grayson Taylor, Alexis Jane King, Jace King, Landon King, Autumn Stanley and Ila Clark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
