He was predeceased by: his significant other Evelyn Kaye Tate; his parents, Nelson Tate and Rachel Tate; and his siblings, Rachel Milburn and Thomas Tate.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Rose (Robin); his grandchildren, Courtney Rose (Austin Stewart) and Cody Rose; his sister Gaynell Tignor; his niece Anne Pederson (Rob); his nephew Nathan Pederson (Shannon); and his great-nephew Bennett.
