James Ernest touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Glovier and Mozelle Glovier; and his brothers, Boyd, Bernard and David.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Dean Glovier; his children, Michael (Chad), Stephen (Joana) and Becky (Jason); his grandchildren, Weston (Abby), Cydney, Devan, Allie and Anabelle; and his siblings, Belva Perry, Ruth Perry (JC), Roger Dean and Gary Dean. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A masonic service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Fidelity Lodge #173. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224).
