He is survived by: his children, Virginia Ann Hale of Castlewood, Virginia and Terry "George" Burton; his sisters, Mary Jessee (Frankie) and Susan Campbell (Tony); and his grandchildren, Michael Hale, Ava Hale, Luciana Gail Burton and Jenna Leigh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
