She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Jefferson and Susie Palmer Meade; her husband Harold Edward Wright, Sr.; her sons, Harold Wright, Jr. and Doug Wright; and her grandson Johnny Lee Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Wright (Trula) of Abingdon, James Lee Wright (Joyce) of Castlewood, Virginia and Teresa Slemp of Castlewood, Virginia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
