With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Fay Bumgarner Kiser (Castlewood, Virginia), who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bubby Bumgarner and Elsie May Hammonds Bumgarner; her siblings, Julian Bumgarner, Glenda Bumgarner and Shirley Bumgarner; and her granddaughters, Stephanie Healey and Amy Nicole Kiser.
She is survived by: her husband Troy Thurman Kiser; her children, Jeffery Bumgarner (Elizabeth), Edward Kiser (Kimberly), Tommy Kiser (Amy), Bobby Kiser (Rhonda), Troy Allen Kiser (Jamie), Helena Baker (Vernoy), Melissa Kiser and Tammy Mullins (Larry); her sisters, Loretta Evelyn, Lorraine, Elizabeth and Marie; and her close friends, Carl and Brenda Austin. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jess Kiser Cemetery.
