She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Howard and Ava Holbrook Burton; and her siblings, Rosie Ramsey, Margie Epperson and James "Speed" Burton.

She is survived by : her son Pete Burton (Robin); her grandchildren, Maegen Moore (Heath) and Morgan Burton; her great grandchildren, Walker Moore and Raelyn Moore; and her brother Charlie Burton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A procession was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Burton Family Cemetery.
