With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert James Puckett (Castlewood, Virginia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patton and Mayro Horne Puckett; his wife Gertrude Mullins Puckett; his brothers, Lee, Ray, John Henry and Emory Puckett; and his son-in-law Ted Grizzle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne Grizzle, Robin Powers and Pam Meade (Phillip); his brother Ronnie Puckett (Jean); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Heather, Christina, Amy, Megan, Melissa and Justin. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia.
