She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Amburgey Tipton; her husband Harmon Luther Kilgore; her son Alvin Kenneth Kilgore; her siblings, Melvin Tipton, Clovis Tipton, Harless Tipton, Mavis McCoy and Mary Pauline Slemp; and her son-in-law R. L. Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Austin of St. Paul, Sue Bunch (JJ) of Wise, Cindy Jones (Chris) of Richmond, Virginia, Harmon Douglas Kilgore (Tammy), Luther Neal Kilgore (Karen) of Abingdon, Grant Kilgore (Sharon) of St. Paul, Thomas Avery Kilgore (Arlene) of Clintwood and John Preston Minton (Michele) of Pounding Mill, Virginia; her sisters, Ann Niner (Bill) of Waterville and Yvonne Johnson (Robert) of Defiance, Ohio; and her pets, Abby, Dolly and Tabby. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
