He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Dean and Ella Mae Dean Randolph; his son William Joseph "Little Deano" Dean; his siblings, Johnny, Sammy, Lawrence, Fred, Walter, Jimmy, Charlie Dean, Edna Jessee and Gracie Alexander; and his siblings' children, Jeanette Jessee Carter and William Blaine Jessee.
He is survived by: his stepfather Sam Randolph; his wife Helen Hartsock Dean; his children, Jamie Dean (Heather) and Charity Dean; his brother Frank Dean; his sister-in-law Lena Dean; his niece Olivia Huddleston (Rodney); his great-nephews, Tyler, Brandon and Mason; his niece Chantel Charais (Nick); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Alexis and Liam; his aunts, Gladys Phillips and Edith Dean; and his grandchildren, Andrea Dean, Lucas Dean, Hayden Dean and Jaxon "JJ" Dean.
