He was predeceased by : his parents, John Ray and Thelma Eloise Johnson Kiser; his wife Fannie Marie Fields Kiser; and his siblings, Lanice Kiser, Terry Kiser, Trula McReynolds, Irene Deel, Jene Leftwick, Judy Hughes and Tina Satterla.

He is survived by : his children, William Ray Kiser (Tracey) of Dante, Virginia and Thelma Fletcher of Dante, Virginia; his brother Johnny Kiser of Dante, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Alec Fletcher, Isabella Fletcher and Elizabeth Fletcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
