With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Taylor of Catlett, Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Betty's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Betty has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Earl Taylor; her parents, Roy Lee Mays and Esther Foley; and her brother Robert Foley (Buddy). She is survived by: her children, Robert Taylor (Vicki) of Catlett and Donna West of Richmond; her sister Mary Jane Foley-Hostetler; and her grandchildren, Tabitha Garcia (Greg), Christine Hancock (Jason), Amanda Ureten (Serkan) and Ashley Bryson. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
