He was predeceased by: his mothers, Frances Edward Gadell and Margaret Nell Bles Gadell; his brother Philip Joseph Gadell; and his wife Linda Cason Gadell. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Yvonne Gadell of Williamsburg, KY and Timothy John Gadell (Adina Strauss) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Kelsey Anne Ciarrocca of Galveston, TX, Courtney Marie Ciarrocca of Charlottesville, VA, Mya Julia Gadell and Kai Noah Gadell of Virginia Beach, VA.; his siblings, Carlas Gadell Starling (David), Laura Gadell Carroll (Phil), Joyce Gadell Burrows, Samuel Gadell, Thomas Gadell (Martha Wampler), Mary Roesener (Stephen), Francis Gadell (Sondra Peat) and Michael Gadell; and his sister-in-law Barbara Westbrook Gadell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
