It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon W. Simpson of Catlett, Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Simpson and Novella Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Vicky Ross (Tim), Mike Simpson, Greg Simpson and Steven Simpson (Sharon); his brother William Simpson of Staunton, VA; and his grandchildren, Travis Ross (Nicole), Erin Phillips (Zach), Emily Thompson (Chris), Tyler Buckingham, Megan Gray, Dylan Simpson, Stephen H. Simpson, Stuart Simpson (Shallion), Brandy James (Chandler) and Virginia D. Simpson. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
