He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Evans Shortridge and Margaret McClanahan Shortridge Epling; his stepfather Guy Epling; his wife Patsy Jean Taylor Shortridge of Cedar Bluff, VA; his stepchildren, Keith Franklin (Christi) of Austin, TX and Melissa Bandy of Pounding Mill, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Gage Gamble (Kayla), Holly Addington (Jack) of Baptist Valley, VA, Haley Slade (Chris) of Tazewell, VA, Zack Franklin (Kenzie) of Richlands, VA and Sara Allison of Austin, TX; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Connor Addington, Carter Addington and Casey Addington.
