It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Vandyke (Cedar Bluff, Virginia), who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Vandyke and Mae Childress Vandyke; his wife Thelma Vandyke; his children, Wanda Street and Danny Vandyke; his siblings, Claude Vandyke, Pete Vandyke, Guy Vandyke, Pearl Runyon and Lucy Suttle; and his grandson Marty Street.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Tweed of Rosedale, Debbie Vandyke of Bristol, TN. and Vickie Dove (Jack) of Abingdon, VA.; and his siblings, Fred Vandyke of Portsmouth, VA. and Mary Cook of Vansant, VA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
