It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy (Dot) Ann Lester Dye of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beecher Lester and Audrey Mae Elizabeth Lester; and her brother Robert B. Lester. She is survived by: her husband Donald Edward Dye; her daughters, Donna Elaine McGlothlin of North Carolina and Terry Lynn Butcher (Scott) of Richlands; her siblings, Nora Jacqueline Strouth and Marvin Wayne Lester (Beverly); her sister-in-law Shirley Lester; her granddaughters, Kristi Lynn McGlothlin of North Carolina, Annie Marie Scott Butcher and Elizabeth Joy Butcher of Richlands; and her great grandchild Skylee Charlize McGlothlin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
