He was predeceased by: his father Ervin McClanahan; his sister Pamela Snead; and his aunt Maudene O'Flaherty. He is survived by: his mother Maurene McClahanan; his brother Gary McClanahan; his nieces and nephews, Lindsay Cook (Dayne), Ben McClanahan (Leah), Betsy Jones (Chip), Blake Snead (Lindsey) and Dana Snead (Queen); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Snead and Linda McClanahan.
