It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn David Settle of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Glenn departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Glenn. Though Glenn may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Allen and Helen Ruth Chambers Settle. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Cox Settle; his children, David Eli Settle (Katelyn) and Sarah Elisabeth Keene (Zack); his grandchildren, Penelope Hope Settle, Madalynn Ruth Fields, Cutie Lynn Keene and David Oliver Settle; and his siblings, Paula Witt (Michael), Steve Settle (Renee) and Carla Perkins (Randall).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Service (7 Tate Ave, Lebanon, VA 24266). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
