He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin Thompson and Billie Louise Hagy Thompson; and his brother Richard Wayne Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lynn Woosley; his children, Tamara Thompson (Kyle Deakin) of Colorado Springs and Michael Thompson of Colorado Springs; his sister Susan Thacker of Richlands, VA; his niece Sarah Woods of Richlands, VA; his nephew Isaac Thompson of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Rachel Eliaser (Alan), Cody Thompson, Kayla Thompson (Lorenzo Young) and Ashley Thompson (Ryan Dozier); his great grandchildren, Ronan Dozier, Noah Seiberlich and Remington Faleao; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Anna, Elijah and Josiah Dozier.
