She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde W. Cox and Hazel Pearl Cox; her husband James "Jim" Harold Ball, Sr.; her daughter Kimberly D. Ball; her brother Robert "Bug" Cox; and her son-in-law James Ratliff.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie H. Ball of Elk Garden, VA and Cheryl A. Ratliff of Belfast, VA; her grandchildren, Angela N. Ratliff of Blacksburg, VA, Alyssa B. Clatterbuck (Matthew) of Lebanon, VA, Emily J. Harrington of Bristol, VA, Mickey Shillinger and Beau Clatterbuck; and her niece Cynthia Crabtree.
