The memory of Marie Ball Pruitt of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Marie Ball shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marie Ball farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Virgie Ball Howard; her husband Charlie Pruitt; her siblings, Dollie Mae Belcher and Burl Ball; her daughter-in-law Donna Jo Pruitt; and her father Mark Dye (Kinta).
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Dale Pruitt of Rosedale, VA and Kenneth W. Pruitt (Phyllis) of Lenior City, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenhills Memory Gardens (11800 Gov G C Peery Hwy, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609).
