He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Waylon Maxfield; his grandparents, Catherine Maxfield, Charlie Lowe, Timothy Maxfield (Missy), Michael and Jennifer Duty; his great-grandparents, Aleta Mercer, Margaret Duty and Agnes Stoops; his aunts, Tiffany Ward (Jeremiah) and Lakin Helton (Donovan); and his uncle John Michael Duty.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Niswonger Children's Hospital, 400 N. State of Franklin Rd., Johnson City, TN 37604.
