We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 96, Max Cecil Linkous of Cedar Bluff, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Linkous and Ocie Linkous; his wife Thelma Williams Linkous; and his siblings, Homer Linkous, Jr., Bernie Linkous and Henrietta Farley.

He is survived by: his caregivers, Sharon Asbury, Brenda Rose, Carol Keene, Ashley Butrum, Susan Ball, Deanna Matney and Whitney Newberry. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Max's Funeral Service (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641).
