He is survived by : his sons, Gerald Lee Gibson of Cedar Bluff and Oliver Ray Gibson, Jr. (Linda) of Smith Ridge; his grandchildren, Tanner Perkins, Jessica Smith and Shannon Perkins; and his siblings, Hazel Skeens, Betty Sargent, Ella Thomas, Ellen Alford, Nancy Dotson, William "Buck" Gibson, Roger Gibson and Howard Gibson.
