It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Kathleen Byrd of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Roosevelt Byrd and Betty Sue Richardson Byrd; her stepmother Dorothy Cantrell Byrd; her stepbrothers, Joseph Lowe and Tommy Lowe; and her fiancé James Robert Jessee.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Byrd (Beverly) of Cedar Bluff, VA; her stepsiblings, Joyce Robinette of Horton Ridge, VA, Marcus Lowe of Cedar Bluff, VA, Gary Lowe of Cedar Bluff, VA, Franklin Lowe (Debbie) of Bristol, TN, Marvin Lowe (Susie) of Bristol, VA, Donald Lowe of Richlands, VA and Gene Lowe of Swords Creek, VA; her sister-in-law Phyllis Lowe of Swords Creek, VA; and her aunts, Faye Richardson of Richlands, VA and Emily Brown of Richlands, VA. She is also survived by several cousins and step nieces and step nephews.
