We announce the death of Ruth Ellen Beavers of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 88. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Campbell Rasnake and Vergie Whitaker Rasnake; her husband Buck Beavers; and her sister Lucille Beavers. She is survived by: her children, C. Keith, Wanda of Abingdon, VA and A. Wayne Beavers (Melinda) of Cedar Bluff, VA; her grandchildren, Keshia Beavers, Tabitha Beavers (Will Shelton), Kellie Beavers and Lance Muncy (Daniell); her great grandchildren, London and Maci; and her siblings, Roy Rasnake (Elizabeth), Buddy Rasnake (Wanda), Connie Lester (Joel) and Terry Rasnake.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Singleton Funeral Service (1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
