She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Arvil Cordle and Virginia Lowe Cordle; her grandparents, Archie McKinley, Novella Helbert Cordle, Willie Reese and Bertha Boardwine Lowe; and her brother Wayne Cordle.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Gray Gilchrist III; her son Matthew Gray Gilchrist; and her siblings, Bobby Lowe (Loretta), Curtis Beaver and Deanna Bland.
