She is survived by: her husband Cecil Graham Monk Jr.; her daughters, Rebecca Egberdina, Melissa Hendrika and Monique Anne; her son-in-law David; her grandsons, Michael and Graham; and her great grandchildren, Avery and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Singleton Funeral and Cremation Service (1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the backpack ministry at Gethsemane Baptist Church, a cause that reflects her lifelong care of others.
