We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025, at the age of 82, Gladys Brooks of Center Cross, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gene B. Brooks; her parents, Louis Balderson and Gladys Balderson; her brother Alvin Balderson, Sr.; and her granddaughter Cathy Lynn Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Dean (Carson), Teresa English and Douglas Brooks (Marlo); her grandchildren, Carson Jr. "Pee Wee" Jonathan, Alex, Damian and Wyatt; her great grandchildren, Davis Richardson, Anne Blanche Barnette, John Corbin English and Winston Barnette; and her sister-in-law Joan Balderson.
