She was predeceased by : her parents, Willard Purcell and Lillian Mae Robinson; her husband Leroy Edward Alexander; her son Ronald Edward Barrington Alexander; her brother Haywood Tasco Robinson; her grandson LeRoy Edward Alexander; her great grandchild Kea Wilkins; her sister Grace Louise Boykins; her son-in-law Theodore "Teddy" Lee; and her brother-in-law Charles Boykins.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jackie Lee (late Teddy) of Centreville, Patricia Corbin (Quinton) of Washington, DC and Debbie Williams (Anthony) of Raleigh; her daughter-in-law Felicia Alexander (late Ronnie) of Woodbridge, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Ricky Alexander, Nina Wilkins (Ike), Troy Alexander, Tena Perkins, Dana Perkins, Lisha Stewart (Darnell), Helena "Angel" Perkins, Crystal Perkins (Zanny), Reggie Alexander, Sharday Williams, Anthony L. Williams and Shameal Harris; her granddaughters-in-law, Marrisa Alexander and Tara Clark; her great grandchildren, Ivan Wilkins Jr., Nazarie Wilkins, Treyvon Hickman, Christian Wingfield, Makhi Jackson, Troi Alexander, Alex Perkins, Brianna Perkins, Devin Perkins, Kierra Perkins, Ramoni Lowry, Zakara Scott, Zariah Scott, Zayne Scott, Zayden Scott, Avery Alexander and Aliya Alexander; her great great grandchildren, Jazelle Flores, Jayce Flores, Zaila Hickman, Kyndall Perkins, Kingston Perkins, Isabella Crimins, Riley Alexander and Princeton Alexander; her siblings, Janet Robinson, Lawrence Robinson (Evangeline) and Harold Scott (Joan); and her sister-in-law Laura James.
