He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles and Robert; and his child Tracy Romine. He is survived by: his wife Ingebjørg; his daughters, Kristi (Joe Ahr) and Cindy (Tracy Smith II); his son-in-law Richard Romine; his grandchildren, Richie, Shelby Romine and Max Ahr; and his great grandchild Hudson Romine. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization dear to Richard's heart.
