He was predeceased by: his son Robert "Robbie" Scott; and his parents, Robert Scott and Mildred Riley. He is survived by: his child Clem Riley; his siblings, Michael Scott, Michael Riley, Wesley Riley and Eddie Starling; his children, Melinda "Mindy" Scott, Kristy Frost (Brad), Jeffrey Alan Scott (Carrie) and TJ Harman; his sisters-in-law, Janet Scott, Kay Riley and Suzanne Riley; his grandchildren, Cody Amber Robertson, Robert Evilsizer, Bianca Harman, Shaylee Frost and Hudson Scott; and his great grandchildren, Luke Robertson, Asher Robertson, Brooklynn Evilsizer and Everley Jade Prater. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as special great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the New Zion Church Cemetery (3171 Old Rich Valley Rd, Ceres, VA 24318).
