He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Ross Pomfret and Josephine Turner Pomfret; and his brother John Ford Pomfret. He is survived by : his close friend Grace Anne Lawson; his son James Robert Pomfret; his niece Jessica Talley; his nephew David Pomfret; and his friends, Bobbi Leighton and Danny Gooch.

“Our sincerest condolences to Dave Pomfret’s family and friends. I rushed and joined Theta Chi Fraternity at Gettysburg College, PA, in 1964 when he was President and remember him fondly. He was a great guy…friend and brother to all, a capable leader, and easy-going personality with many interests. He will be missed…rest in peace, brother.
